Candice Sandra Kaushas, 41, from Scranton, passed away suddenly on July 24, 2021.
Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Sandra Kaushas. She attended West Scranton High School before attending Keystone College.
Her son Michael was the light of her life. They shared a sacred bond and spent their time outdoors and she cherished every moment. Candice loved makeup and making others feel beautiful. She enjoyed cooking and rescuing animals, which she often brought home, and she also cared for others and deeply loved her family. Candice will always be remembered as a caring and giving person. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Michael Rinaldi; aunt, Susan Takacs; brother, Edward Kaushas and companion, Michelle Troy; sister, Sheri Pakarklis and husband, David; brother, Chris Kaushas and wife, Tiffany; close cousins who were like sisters to Candice are Stephanie Mustacchio and Christine Takacs; uncle, CJ Mustacchio Sr. and wife, Anne; uncle, John Takacs and wife, Rosemarie; aunt, Sheila Davis; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Kaushas; grandparents, Vincent and Dorothy Kaushas, and John and Ann Takacs; and an uncle, John Davis.
